Yes — absolutely zero. This course starts from the very beginning: what is a network, what is an IP address, what is a hacker. You don't need to have touched a computer beyond browsing and social media.

The course runs for 2 months with 1 session per week, each 2 hours long — 8 sessions total. Sessions are held in the evenings so they're accessible for students and working people alike. You can attend in person in Utrecht or join the live stream online.

Everything in this course is 100% legal and ethical. You'll learn how attacks work — not to harm people, but to understand how to defend against them. This is standard cybersecurity education followed by universities, certification programs, and security professionals worldwide.

Just a laptop or PC. You don't need anything special — we'll guide you in setting up free tools like VirtualBox for practicing safely. A standard computer running Windows, Mac, or Linux is all you need.

After completing this course you'll have a real foundation to continue into more advanced certifications like CompTIA Security+, CEH (Certified Ethical Hacker), or the Cisco CyberOps Associate path. You'll also receive a Certificate of Completion from Atwa-ICT Academy that you can share on your CV or LinkedIn.
